TV Auracast Transmitters

Listening to your TV with Auracast is like listening to music on your phone with your Bluetooth earbuds! It’s a great experience!

Lower cost TV adapter transmitters are now available in the below $100 price range. Existing TV adapters specifically for hearing aids run $200-$500, so you can save some cash.

Manufacturers are now adding Auracast transmitters to their TVs! If you are looking for a new TV, find one that supports Auracast. Both LG and Samsung have been including Auracast on select premium TVs. We are hopeful that in the coming years all TVs will include Auracast.

Auracast support varies by model and year. Check the exact TV before purchasing.

If you're checking a TV in a store, opening these Sound menus is one of the quickest ways to see whether Auracast transmission is available.

Samsung: Go to Settings → Sound → Sound Output for Audio Broadcast/Auracast, and check the model specifications or manual for Auracast.

LG: Go to Settings → Sound → Sound Out for Auracast, and check the model specifications or manual for Auracast or Bluetooth LE Audio. Search the manual for Auracast or Bluetooth LE Audio, then confirm that your exact model supports Auracast broadcasting. LE Audio alone does not confirm this.

Check compatibility before purchasing. Features vary by exact model, region, and firmware. Confirm Auracast support and the functions you need in the manufacturer’s current documentation.
